General Information
Built by Fairey Marine, the Gannet used the shell of the International 14 and the rig of
the Albacore to produce a simple and inexpensive craft.  At least some of the Gannet
boats sold by O'Day were built by Marscot Plastics.

Miscellaneous information
09/12/07 - Rex Solomon, who contributed the Gannet photos on this page, says that the
Williston Sailing Club of Easthampton, Massachusetts had 6 Gannets in their fleet in the
early 1980's.  He also sent in this information taken from the stainless steel hull ID plate
from boat # 4 in the fleet:
